What this site collects
I use Microsoft Clarity to understand how people move through the site — which projects get opened, where people scroll, what they tap. It records anonymised session replays and click/scroll heatmaps, and drops two cookies (_clck, _clsk) so it can stitch a session together.
Sensitive content (form fields, anything marked private) is masked by default, so what I see is shapes and interactions, not your typing.
What it doesn't collect
No name, no email, no IP that's tied to you. I don't run ad tracking, I don't share data with third parties beyond Microsoft (who run Clarity), and I don't sell anything to anyone.
Why
This is a portfolio. Knowing which case studies actually get read — and where people lose interest — helps me make the site (and my work) better.
Opting out
Turn on Do Not Track in your browser, use an ad blocker, or browse in a private window — Clarity will respect it or simply not load. You can also email me at jrjamesrotimi@gmail.com and I'll happily delete anything tied to your session.
